Advice for Sustanon

Looking for advice. I'm a 43yr male. I've been using Sustanon 250 for about 3 months now. Still got quite a bit of stomach weight and wondering if it's okay to continue using it or if anything else would work better. Would like to have more mental energy, sharpness and clarity and would also like to start trying some peptides. Does anybody have any good advice and direction for me? Thanks!

My advice would be to just continue on a test until you reach a weight you are happy with, I know there’s varying opinions on what test esters to use I personally love sustanon.
I’d recommend pinning at least 3 times a week with it and if that’s not your vibe switch to a c or e and pin at least twice for stable levels; focus on consistency and you got it

On the peptide side I’d say give Reta a try it’ll help with food noise and actually help metabolic rate along with insulin sensitivity, has also been shown to be liver protective

AAS are not going to help with losing weight that much.
If you are on it, stay on it. inject 2x/week (125mg per injection, 250 per week)
look into GLP1-agonists like retatrutide (or tirzepatide if you have a lower budget)

If you have a large budget and little regard for your health you can try some other stuff, which I will not mention here (to not give you any stupid ideas)
but with the test& GLP1 agonist you are on a great path to being neither fat nor skinny.

good luck on your journey

Bro, thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time

Hard work, a food scale, a macro tracking app, a deficit that you stick to. That is the only way to fat loss.

If you are overweight and using test, you are likely setting yourself up for all the side effects with little benefit. Adipose tissue is where the aromatase enzyme lives. The more adipose tissue you have, the more aromatase you have, and the more your will aromatize your testosterone into estrogen.... and that is not going to contribute to weight loss at all. Hi estrogen also causes lack of focus, low energy, and just generally feeling shitty all around.

Are you on a TRT protocol with a doctor, or are you just doing this on your own?

Have you checked your estradiol to see how much you are aromatizing?

The answer to fat loss is in your food plan, not in testosterone.

I take estrogen blockers too

but it's okay because I'm figuring it out.
This is something you figure out before starting, not as you go.

You are overweight, self medicating without Dr. oversight AND don't know what you are doing, AND you are already having to use an aromatase inhibitor? Did you even get bloodwork done or are you just treating imaginary numbers with an imaginary plan?

Dude, read what I just wrote and let that be your sign that you're fucking up and need to stop.

Lose the weight. Learn. After learning as much as you can and doing the work to lose the weight, MAYBE THEN try some test.

My bloodwork was low. I have a friend who is really knowledgeable that's walked me through it. I didn't start blockers until my buddy told me that I should probably start since I had been taking it a while and it's low doses twice a week

I also haven't gained the weight from sus. I was already at this weight when I started. I'm 5'11" and 205lbs. I'm not in bad shape. Just got a little belly I'd like to get rid of but that's lack of discipline in myself, honestly. I started out with enanthate 300 once and then twice a week in the beginning for about 3 months and then moved to the sus

You should never need an estrogen blocker on trt doses. Cut that out. Bad for you in the long run. Arimdex lowers igf1, weakens bones leading to fractures, can cause hairloss. Aromasin is bone anabolic and the better choice but there has been some debate over long term use causing blood vessels to lose elasticity.

Leave AI use to when on cycle and you have high e2 symptoms or lab work dictates it. Trt just say no. You lower the testosterone dose if you are getting high e2 symptoms.

You need to check your levels AFTER you start. Old testosterone tests don't tell you what your new estradiol levels are.....

Your friend is misguiding you.

For sure, I was just showing you my levels right before I started. I know I need to get them checked again. Thank you brother for your concern also

That's I came here also. I know there's a lot of knowledge and wisdom here on men's health, and obviously there will be misguidance here too.

hey man, dont listen to these guys.
Yes, you should have figured all this shit out before starting test.
No, you should not stop taking test. maybe lower the dose a tiny bit to figure stuff out if you are really experiencing issues.
Yes, you should get bloodwork. Hematocrit, E2, and TotalTest at the least.
No you should not stop taking exemestane if it is needed (if you are taking arimidex/anastrozole or letrozole, switch to exemestane/aromasin)

Do not hop off, but please for the love of god read through the mens health and TRT forum.

I'm taking Arimidex so I'll switch. I'm only taking a quarter of a pill twice a week and sometimes only once a week

Thanks bro! I am taking Arimidex so I will switch to something different. I've only been taking a quarter of a pill twice a week and sometimes once a week but I'll use something more safe now that I know

Hey, I had a question. I stopped taking Sustanon 250 and am now taking Cypionate 200 at 100 x 2 every week. My estrogen levels are high. These were my results Estradial Sensitive is at 52.5 with a range of 8.0 - 35.0. I have Aromasin 12.5mg pills. Do you have a recommendation what dosage I should take right now? I'm sure my estrogen levels will come down a little after discontinuing the Sustanon but I don't want to overtake Aromasin. Is that something I should take once a day or a couple of times a week?
