AI or not to AI

Hey guys,

Just curious when you should incorporate an AI into your PCT. For example, the Mike Scally power PCT list low dose aromasin 12.5 mg E3D as optional.

I don’t understand how an AI isn’t mandatory.... because if you don’t include one then when you finish the PCT your E2 will be sky high and will suppress the HPTA axis again suppressing testosterone production.

Can someone please clarify this for me. Thanks

You just answered your question. If you taking clomid or any other pct compound that might rise your estrogen above your taste, you can use an AI to prevent suppression and further stimulate your test production.

I won't run a ai if my estrogen is below 45.

So that’s below 45 while on the SERMS right?

Isn’t 45 still quite high and could suppress gonadotropin output once you quit your PCT putting you back at square 1?

35 to 40 is borderline high. To some extent can suppress, but for some people that's baseline levels. Most men have baseline levels of estrogen around -+30.
Obviously the lower your estrogen the more you will stimulate the pituitary to produce more LH and FSH resulting in an increase in testosterone... But the symptoms and sides from low estrogen are not fun. Too low estrogen can cause loss of libido, joint pain, skin dryness and wrinkles, bone weakening and even increase the risk of injuries while exercising. No need to go below 15.

High dosages of aromatizing compounds can increase estrogen above 100
