An old man looking through a minefield for his first cycle

Hey guys, I´m 54 & trained for years but never supplemented (other than creatine etc) & never tried to look jacked. This last 4-5 years however I've trained pretty hard trying to bulk up & left infuriated by others in the gym that look amazing but don't train as hard or heavy as I do. I'm now convinced this is what they're doing & the only way forward. In years gone by I followed the mainstream thinking that steroids would make me a spotty limpdick & then the gains would be gone when I stopped using anyway.

I've just finished a cycle of Anavar for Pharmaqo & either it was fake, watered down, or I need something more. I do have slight gains, I feel harder but this could be placebo cos I upped my training.

My testosterone levels have obviously dropped naturally so I'm looking to stack Test & probably Deca as I'm sure I train hard enough already but there are so many unanswered questions.

Needles, are these supplied with the product or do I need to buy them separately? Which ones are recommended?
I'm confused over the measurements mg/ml. Is there multiple shots in each bottle? I haven't really got the budget to spend 100s weekly, kinda hoping I can do this for around £100 per month?
Suppliers, OMG please someone tell me a trusted lab that reliably supplies decent gear at a decent price.

I am inclined to take Nolvadex from day 1. I've always had a bit of gyno since a kid, never enough to bother me & I still have a full head of hair. What are your thoughts on this?

Last question, how do you get bloods tested? Do you literally walk into the local clinic & ask for testosterone test? Don't really fancy some student nurse trying to lecture me on the error of my ways lol

Thanks for your time guys, I´ll let you know how this journey goes

at 54 and living in the UK your number one priority should be private medical and life insurance before doing any more gear. Most uk insurers have a ten year rule for AS ( eg they will not insure u if u admit to use within ten years of the application ). the nhs is fucked to the point where i want to move abroad just to have an emergency room without a twelve hour wait.

So... First thing I want to say is that you need to stop comparing yourself to others. I can't recall who said it, but 'comparison is the thief of joy' rings very true here. Some people are going to make more gains than you, no matter if they're taking gear or not. There's a genetic component that is out of your hands.

The second thing is that I think you need to do a lot more research before you dive in. You should get a yearly physical and blood test. That should tell you what your testosterone levels are. More importantly, how do you feel? I first jumped on TRT because I had no libido, and I felt like shit. It took years of talking to my doctors, running tests, and doing things they recommended before they put me on TRT.

As to needles, that's individual. For the longest time, I was content with 3cc 23 gauge for thigh shots and 25 gauge for chest and delt shots. I'm now experimenting with 29 gauge. Where you get needles from depends; I think you can actually get them from Amazon. I get mine from gpzmedlab.

I'm not an expert, but I don't think Nolva is going to do anything for your gyno. My understanding is that it doesn't reduce the amount of estrogen in your system, instead it blocks receptors. Meaning, you'll probably rebound when you stop. You would need an AI - probably Letrozole, which is a very powerful anti-estrogen. That said, even that might not work, and you'd need to have surgery. Again, do your research - there's a lot of links on this board that will inform you.

As to getting testosterone, you can either try to get on TRT or buy it from an underground source. If you get it through insurance, it could cost anywhere from $10 a month to $50 a month. The first few months I pay about $100 for two months supply, then I hit my deductible and pay a lot less.

Underground sources are anywhere from $40 to $100 for testosterone cypionate/ethanoate. I'm not going to make a recommendation because, who am I to you? Why would you trust me? You have no reason to. At the end of the day, you find a supplier that you feel moderately confident of and you take a gamble.

Vials and mg vary. TYPICALLY, you get 10 ml per vial with 250 mg of testosterone per ml. That means, 1ml (or 1 cc) equals 250 mg of testosterone in your system. Again, this varies, I've seen the range from 100 mg a ML to 500 mg a ML.

Again, I'm no expert, so please do your research, and if I've said anything incorrect, I welcome you or anyone else to correct me.

Everyone gotta die sometime, I'm certainly not gonna fret over something I have no control of

If confirmed by a physician, surgically remedy gynecomastia prior to PED's or expect the development of "bitch tits".

We all make decisions every day that we have control over and oftentimes those decisions predict a future whether beneficial or adverse.

And make no mistake about it disability rather than death is often the outcome of poor, as in fate based decision making.
