andro gel at the end of a cycle to keep gains??

i have pretty easy access to andro gel and was wondering if there would be any effect to take it at the end of the cycle and a little bit afterwards to help keep test levels somewhat normal to keep gains? this is along with pc therapy of course. or would the andro gel shut down natural test production as well? any way can anyone who is knowledgable anwser these questions if there would be some use for it or if it would just complicate things
