Andrus Veerpalu Tests Positive for Human Growth Hormone

Andrus Veerpalu, the two-time Olympic cross-country skiing champion in the 15-K race of 02' and 06', has been officially banned from competition for three years as of late August after testing positive for HGH (Human Growth Hormone) in January and again in February. Veerpalu abruptly retired at age 40 after denying these results before the World Championships.
