anti-estrogens

i'm 23 years olds, male '& have never used any sex(or anabolic) steroids. i think i may have higher estrogen levels than normal (or lower testesterone?) - i have trouble getting leaner after a certain point, cant put on much muscle and oh i have a female bodyfat distribution pattern.
im in the middle of searching for a doctor to register with and to get a blood test but in the meantime i have a question.

i know continued AAS use without post cycle anti-estrogen/aromatase inhibitors causes female bodyfat distribution and was wondering if strong doses of an anti-estrogen or aromatase inhibitors be enough to cause a change in my bodyfat distribution pattern to a more typical male? and if i did get my testestorone:estrogen levels to a more typical male ratio, would this effect have to compulsary to would it still depend on my genetics?

thanks

What have you tried, to put on the muscle?

A friend of mine told me the same thing, and when I saw what he was doing, well, there was no way it would stimulate muscle growth.

At your age, unless there is a serious problem with your hormones, lifting may be the answer for you.

But if you've lifted for a year or so and done it correctly without result, time to see a specialist (endochronologist? is that what they call them?)

Also, describe female bodyfat distribution as you understand it.

Your asking a really tough question, so people will need way more info to give advice.

hi, sorry for the late reply, i've been caught up in revision for my exams

ive been lifting since september. ive been using free weights as theres not a lot of equipment in our gym (by gym i mean a small gym room in my student accomodation).

up until mid-january i was looking to gain muscle(am not sure of numbers here, i mainly went of my appearance) and since then i have been dieting. the first few weeks i just spent on a standard ketogenic diet but since then i have been on 2 ud2.0 diets (is everyone familiar with this - its a ckd).

anyway, since then i have got really good results on my upper body (i can see a 6 pack in the mornings - and almost an 8 pack when i take an ec stack). but i still have a fat ass and thighs (my understandng of female bodyfat distribution), and for the last 4 weeks they haven't been ttouched and ive started to lose muscle .

i've always have had a high bodyfat and i can't seem to get any leaner. i'm 168cm and 60.2kg so from the bmi calculator im still well within a normal weight category.

ive read up quite a bit on stubborn fat, and with a combination of ketogenic dietiing, cardio and yohimbine i thought i could get some results but nothing has materialised.

so is this just really stubborn fat and will taking an anti-estrogen help?

Taking an anti-estrogen would help if your fat distribution is the result of having too much estrogen. The only way to know is to have your estadriol levels checked. If your estrogen is not too high, taking anti-estrogens would be a waste of money -- clinical studies show that they would have no impact on your body composition.

would aromatase inhibitors result in any changes in body composition?
and please could you point me to any useful websites if you are familiar with any.

on another note, i am totally lost on what i should be doing now. do i bulk & risk gaining more fat in my stubborn areas, or do i diet & risk losing more muscle?

Read my post again -- aromatase inhibitors such as arimidex will result in changes in your body composition IF AND ONLY IF your estrogen levels are too high.

If you want to cut fat don't bulk. If you want to preserve muscle don't diet. You have to choose one or the other. You can't suck and blow at the same time.

Look, this ain't rocket science. First get your hormone levels checked, it's not too expensive and doesn't take much time. If the hormones aren't the problem, you have to cut. Taking DNP is prolly the best way to cut fat without wasting muscle. An even better approach would be liposuction because it removes the fat cells permanently.

Some guys genetics are just that way. VERY few men have too much estrogen, since estrogen in males is from breaking down testosterone. By definition you would also have high test...

Anyway, skip the worries mate, I have the same problem, and running and biking solves it.

They say fat can't be changed by working a body part, but that is an outright lie. I promise you it can, because that is exactly what happened to me when I started running and biking. My fat in my legs and ass just fell off within weeks (but I'm one dedicated MF).

Add some running to your weight lifting. You will sleep better, and your attitude will be better, and you'll have more energy.

The High protien diet is great for your problem too, will make you burn all the fat in your body. Running and lifting too, will fix it all is my bet.

Or anyway, that's always what does it for me. I just started my no carb diet two days ago to get into summer shape.

The problem with hi-pro lo-carb diets is that they are very to stay on over the long run and once you fall off the wagon you pack on the fat again right away,

Yeah, if you have a weight problem... I think your right because people's lifestyle is what does it. If they only change the protien and carb intake for a while and go back, what else could happen.

I just wintered well this year. My wife was around and cooked a lot of those really great meals, and I just kept eating (leftoever weakness disease).

So once I drop the weight this way, it stays off til I abuse my wife some more (wait... that didn't come out right).
