Any way to brew just 10mls at a time?

So I've never brewed less that 50mls of anything at a time, but I want to start experimenting with blends and bases now and I don't want to waste shit if it ain't going to hold. Instead of a beaker I'm thinking I will just mix ingredients into an open(sterile)30ml vial and once everything is blended extract and filer into a 10ml vial. Does this sound right or is there an easier way to go about this?

Even if a few vials crash I will just reheat them before use. Done that many times over the years with no issues.

Thanks fellas :)

It shouldn't be a problem as long as your scale is accurate. Smaller weights tend to be unreliable on some scales.
It may be difficult to mix 10ml of product in a 10ml vial. A 30ml beaker would be much easier to use. You can boil the mixing glassware to get near-sterile conditions.
After mixing, just heat it slightly, draw it into a sterile syringe, and filter it into your sterile vial.

Boil? I wash my glassware in soap n water, then rinse and then soak in iso and then bake for 30 minutes.

That will do it for sure. I wash mine with soap and water too; but I leave it in a bleach brine until ready to sterilize.
My mind was on the steam sterilization route I guess since i use an autoclave.
The isopropanol/baking is a great idea. I would definitely use that if the autoclave drier stopped working.

Get alconex or sone other lab glass cleaner, then get a 50ml beaker and small stir bar. Makes it easy to do 10-20ml.

Boiling glassware is not a good solution.

I'd bump it to 15ml as you'll love a bit during the process and scale down from there. I've done very small amounts.

It can be done.
Only that you'd need to brew something like 13 ml as some oil remains in the sterile filter, and you'd need to pour 10.5-11 ml in a 10 ml vial as some remains adhered to the glass walls and rubber stopper.

Some MILD warming is usually needed to speed up both dissolution and filtration so you may want to use a small beaker (heat resistant) instead of plain vials.

You'd need a "milligram" scale
about $30 at Amzn/Ebay
