The search function is amazing. It should be learned and utilized and once you find the thread your info you want is in or would fit in, comment and follow and boom! You get notifications. I check all my notifications several times a day for that very reason

Search function is great but we don't need some jackass unnecessarily increasing the difficulty to find relevant topics by bumping dead threads because he is obnoxious and bored.

And what the heck does the search function have to do with bumping an old useless thread with absolutely zero information or feedback from the original poster. I mean, if you used HCL and had some feedback and added it, I would understand. But you literally bumped a thread because you were bored.... Sorry, thats just being annoying. Whether you give a shit or not is another matter, but you should still know its annoying and not helpful in any way.

Its like a flashback for members who were here then. Mands didnt seem to mind. As for the relevance of the search function, you said it buried information...information.isn't buried if you're not too ignorant to use the search function. Research should be a common tool for members so I'll consider this bump a method of encouragement for that. Also i will now make it a tradition at least once a year
