I'm thinking about trying to take a trip to Norway in 2018. Flight and hotels are very reasonably priced, I understand cost out there for goods and travel is pretty high though. Anyone ever been there? Care to share your experience please?

Never been i always wanted to go though. Curious to see what others have to say. I also want to go to Iceland.
I’ve been there. It’s gorgeous bro. It’s one of the most expensive countries in the world but if you decide to go there and can spare the time away from all the amazing sites, you might as well travel to the surrounding Scandinavian countries as well. You seem to have the accommodation down but you could try hostels for even cheaper.
Norway has a ton of beautiful sites away from the capital so try to get around. And you won’t have to worry about language because pretty much everybody there speaks English. I’d recommend going in the summer it’s even prettier but if you’re the winter type you’ll get a really nice winter there
