anyone ever use PayPal?

Long story short, I have some money in PayPal. Just got done with a bid so cash I scarce. Has anyone used it before? I remember reading some threads on PayPal before but that was a while back.
Any and help/criticism is what I'm after.

Yes. I've used PayPal to buy some textbooks off eBay I was interested in. Using it to buy gear? Fuck that.

paypal can stop money for illegal transactions within seconds so I do not think a smart dealer would do so.
1. for the risk of the money loss
2. for his own security

If it's private small deal I feel like paypal could work. If it's a lab I would be weary.

Avoid linking yourself to the illegal purchase as much as possible. PayPal links you directly TO the purchase. For this reason, it's safe to say never use PayPal or a CC.

Is the source on e-Bay ? Theres been a increase in sources (usually in Turkey) that take Pay-Pal for gear . Its legal there , not so legal here ....
