Are the non-sterile filters ok??

So i read a little bit about which filters to use and some people say you need sterile filter, others say you don't...i think since you bake it afterwards, you dont need sterile...
what is the truth?

Pre filter is ok
But not for final product
And depends on what and how much volume your filtering
I myself use steril always.
Don't take a chance with out a good steril filter.
Listen to what you said (does that make sence )get all filters steril!!
Good luck

.....dont take any chances with something that could cause major health issues...

Buy the best sterile filters out there money can buy

Never cut corners around that area at all never...

Like both these guys said, use sterile filters. Baking the gear in the oven after doesn't sterilize it.

ok, im gonna take your advice, but heating the gear to 200C for 15 minutes should kill all the bacteria and viruses there is...
it makes sense to me, if you have nice crystal clear oil which you got by .22 filtration, and then bake(sterilize) it, it should be good.
just trying to go by the logic here..

now i'm reading you can't put the final product in the oven...i thought when you are finished you just put the whole vial with gear in the oven
bc the rubber stopper would melt or something idk

It'll take longer than 15min at 200C plus you'll damage the hormone possibly n

Just some advice...from reading what you wrote above...i suggest to do more research before asking about filters and baking in the oven...

There are steps and agents that is used to kill off bacteria for final finished product

You can run a few ml of ba through non sterile filters if you need to. Wait a bit then use. I'd discard the first few ml of oil if you do. Never heard of anyone baking afterwards, though.

I mistakenly ordered non sterile Whatman .20 filters. I ran some rubbing alcohol (90%) through the filter before filtering and had no issues.

Lots of people do "bake" finished product after, but it's really not necessary or even a good idea. It can shrink/melt some stoppers and it can degrade some hormones (Trenbolone most notably).

Sterilization is achieved by the actual filtration (bacteria and virus cells are not passing through a .22 filter membrane), and sterility is maintained by the 1-2% of Benzyl Alcohol that you've put in the mix. "Baking" the stuff afterwards just isn't needed.

A regular healthy immune system is always a bonus too. Even if the odd thing slips by proper injection procedure, and being an open-air procedure it most certainly does, it really shouldn't be an issue.

Edit: Get some better filters though, they're cheap enough. You can run some BA or ISO through the ones you have in a pinch, but it's still a risk. You don't know how they've been handled before the got to you. Some greasy bastard ebay seller might have licked every last one of the damn things before shipping them off to you!
