Arm 1 inch bigger today theory

Hi gents,

Has anyone picked up the current edition of Muscle and Fitness magazine? On the cover is WWE superstar HHH.

In it they discuss a 5 hour training session that according to the author gave him a 1 inch increase in his arm size. The catch is that it is a 5 hour workout. Even though he said the 1 inch increase isn't permanent, he was able to gain between .25 and .5 of an inch. The workouts included supersets which these had to be done once for 5 straight hours. I will provide the workout below assuming our workout begins at 2:00.

Time Exercise sets reps
2:00 Standing barbell curl 3 8
Seated two hand dumbell extension 3 8

2:20 Seated alternate dumbbell curl 2 12
Two arm dumbell kickback 2 12

2:40 Crazy 6's barbell curl 1 6
Crazy 6's lying barbell french press 1 6

Crazy 6's is a six second positive and six second negative for six reps. I might try this next week if I have some time.

ive always taken everything in muscle and fitness with a huge grain of salt...also in my opinion HHHs arms suck
 
It's called localized swelling from trauma, not hypertrophy. 5 hours of arm work is crazy IMO. Some of the largest arms in the world were built with no direct arm work. Learn the principles not quick, temporary fixes.
 
Guarenteed they were not that big a day later...fuckin' stink-bag magazines..anything for a buck.
Sounds kinda like Polquins "one day arm cure"...an ALL DAY workout, but very little if any sustainable results.
More than likely you'll over-train and end up with smaller arms, or have to wait 8 days for recovery
 
I'ts bullshit.. it's nothing more than swelling caused by myofibral trauma.. It is not permenant...and is really nothing more than a waste of time..
