A 300-pound naked bodybuilder who violently started attacking people in a residential neighborhood in California was “under the influence of steroids” and other drugs according to the Associated Press. His appearance and violent behavior were the only basis for the suspicion. Of course, the popular stereotype of bodybuilders on steroids exhibiting “roid rage” makes investigators (and media) quick to blame steroids.
