Because UV-VIS spec price is acceptable (which I already have...) I am gathering assay methods for steroids and posting at meso.
ASSAY.
Weight accurately about 0.01g of testosterone propionate, previously dried, and dissolve in methanol to make exactly 100mL. To exactly 5mL of this solution add methanol to make exactly 50mL. Determine the absorbance A of this solution at the wavelength of maximum absorption at about 241 nm as directed under UV-vis spec.
