well, i have been contemplating about doing a cycle of DNP, but i still have some questions that i need to be answered before i start.
first of all, i just got to the end of my bulking phase (haven't ever juiced), and i'm at about 6'1'', 230 lbs, about 17% bodyfat. I am going back to college (Miami) in 5 weeks, and i need to get to at least 10% bodyfat by the end of 4 weeks. in order to lose that weight, i was thinking of the following plan:
2 weeks ketogenic diet, followed by 2 weeks DNP.
now this is where my problems arise. i've read that some recommend 3 days of carb depletion before DNP, but i was wondering if the DNP results would be diminished due to a longer pre-DNP carb depletion phase. the reason i want to do two weeks is because i've had great results in the past, and even though i lose some muscle and they go soft due to loss of glycogen, i still manage to have a nice beach body.
another question i have is, the above cycle will keep my muscles depleted of glycogen for 4 weeks. i realize that this will not be very conducive for any sort of muscle gain, but will there be any significant muscle loss that can't be gained back? (keep in mind i am not going for sheer size, but instead for the ripped, symmetrical look).
another problem i am worried about is my natural thyroid function/metabolism. will my planned cycle fuck up my natural metabolism once i am done with DNP? i have read that most folks keep the DNP down to around 8 or 9 days, and that for prolonged cycles some sort of t-3 is recommended. will running 200mg for 4 days, 400 mg for 6 days, and 600 mg for 4 days negatively affect my future natural metabolism and is some sort of thyroid supplementation necessary?
well, sorry to have blathered on for such a long post, but i really don't wanna go into doing DNP until i am completely sure of what i am doing, because i don't wanna die
thanks for your help dudes
peace
the shocker
btw, im 20 years old if anybody was wondering.
