Just completed my first home brew and i suggest anyone wanting to brew for personal use dont bother. You are part of a forumn full of reps selling quality premades that ship domestic. Im in australia and all u can get here is gear from (msg labs). They repaired the camera and if you go to msglabs.com.is you get a short video of how the gear is made. A buff guy dips the viles into the bathwater and sends that to us in australia. If you are lucky you get a short curly in the vile.
So if like me all i can get through customs are raws, homebrew is the only answer. You wont save money unless you buy crap raws, ba, bb, gso from msglabs. Quality strile costs big bucks. Using syring filters sucks more than a cheap prostitute. Like everyone i cant get sterile filters so i pushed 2ml of ba. through before filtering gear. Dont do it just buy a proper filter set up first. Second bummer was my first brew of 20ml ended up 2ml short due to waste left in syringes, viles, filters kitchen bench and all ova my once sterile gloves. So i made second brew to make 25ml to make 2 x 10ml viles. Ended up with 2ml left over. So if you are like me and doing small brews (60 ml) at a time dont. Cheaper to buy premade. My wife helped me and honestly brewing on your own would be too hard unless you are set up properly. With small brews some of the neasurements like ba. Are so small you have to use a one mill syringe to be accurate. (By the way gso. And ba. Both remove the lines off your syringes so have plenty. )

There's plenty of Australian domestic labs mate. Also very easy to get sterile syringe filters, BA, BB for a reasonable price and shipped domestically if you spend more than 30 seconds googling. I get what you're saying with the brewing though if it's for personal use, much less hassle just to buy premade if you're not doing 100ml+ per brew.

Thanks for the feed back borles. Been done over too many times now by domestic gear. Impossible to import viles or amps so brew is the new me. Just got to refine process. Had fun and it was quality time with my wife. Had three reliable sourses. All three have done me bad now. Even if i only get a quarter of my raws through customs im in front. Just dont trust australian suppliers now. A year ago no porblems. Now they send short, send wrong stuff or nothing at all. Wont answer emails. Or say order more and they will add missed gear and send nothing a second time. Thanks for taking the time to read and reply. Cheers.

brewing on your own would be too hard unless you are set up properly

It's grade school mathematics not rocket science.

1 Determine the desired concentration and add the correct amount of raw.
2 Add solvents. 1ml of ba is 1% of 100ml. Your bb will depend on the aas used, but I've never used more than 20%. Just add solvent until it is in solution.
3 Add your carrier when your raw is dissolved.

Cool tip. Thanks man ive been disolving (melting) with the gso added. Just thought it would stop seperation. Appreciate the help and that you took the time to read my post. My homebrew has been fine so far. No change from brewing no pip and is by far the strongest brew (concentration) ive ever used. Thanks again im learning and appreciate your advice.

If you aren't saving a ton of money by home brewing then you are doing something wrong. We have full access to supplies here in Aus , filters , pumps , solvents , sterile sealed vials the works. The hardest part is getting in the raws but DO has been good to buy raws from with great success .

Do? Forgive my ignorance who are do.. I used q sigma. Quality seems good. But long wait time. Price for brewing small amounts for personal use is high. Not like premade domestic high. But still buying in bulk. I got ba and bb viles and oil to last a life time. Then filters and vacumn pump. Heater/ stirrer. All adds up. If i could i would have kept buying premades at 120 a vile. But all i got was a vile of gso no gear so i went to brewing. Maybe i should have done it differently but desperate people do desperate things. Thanks for the advice hitman.who are do?

DO = Dragon Ordnance ( yep thats how he spells it , no its not missing an " a" ) , thats his handle on here as a raws source and he ships to us by stealth methods. Failing that if you wanted to remove the chemistry side of things we have a great aussie board with vetted sources ( for the most part) that are all domestic , with the main compounds setting you back around $80 - $90 a vial. I'll double check the rules if I can post the name on here.

I've never seen a video of a guy dipping vials into a bath to fill them, I'd be keen to see that, in disgust of course.

Home brewing, UGL, cook etc.
All seen as the same thing but vastly different IMO.
