AVI to MPEG conversion...no sound

Anyone know why my AVI to MPEG conversion has no sound? I've converted vids before, but haven't encountered this. Any help is appreciated.

I know some of the stuff I have ripped splits up the video and the sound into two seperate files. Did this happen to you?

I don't think so. I can't seem to find 2 separate files. It shows the AVI file and when I go to convert...no audio.

It may use a different codec to play the avi audio that you do not have. If it was recorded using Dolby Digital then you need the AC3 codec and can find it here. Try a few different ones if that doesnt work.
