Sure this has been asked in one form or another. My back is out. I've had surgery on l5s1 in the last 10 years my back goes out 2 to 3 times a year at the worst I can't walk for a week. Would gh at 2 IU help speed up the recovery. Can't start PT for a couple weeks. Not looking for a miracle but looking to speed up the healing process tryin not to walk like an old man for the next 3 weeks

Depends what your natural igf levels are, if they’re low then 2 iu could bring you into normal range. If they’re already normal 2iu isn’t going to do much

it’s like if you have low test levels, 200mg a week is going to bring most people into normal range. But if you already there it’s pointless

I don’t know that I agree. My natural IGF is on the high end but 2 IU of GH a day has been the best thing to happen to me since being age 15. I haven’t been sick in the 2 years I’ve been on it. And my sleep has improved drastically. My waist line is at 30” which hasn’t been that size since I was 16 yrs old. I used to have to diet myself to starvation to hit 31” waist and now I maintain 30” just eating whatever.

Gh levels are non existent according to blood work earlier in the year. And the only reason I ask about gh is because it is easily accessible.2 UI is just a number I threw out there. I've been referred to the spine clinic but due to covid closest appointment I could get is 3 months away.

It's not gonna hurt honestly. Don't know if it'll help much either. But it does tend to help things heal faster, especially muscular tears and surgery wounds.

There was a study posted here showing slightly above trt 200mg test and 2iu gh accelerated healing by weeks.

Anecdotally, I used that Protocol and it brought me back from 5 years of pain! It allowed me to train again. Now when my back goes out it takes weeks and not months to heal up again.

Some very interesting reading on Spinal Injuries/Back Pain and HGH.

Use of localized human growth hormone and testosterone injections in addition to manual therapy and exercise for lower back pain: a case series with 12-month follow-up
The first link relates to Spinal Injuries and HGH. It would suggest a positive benefit from HGH.

GH deficiency in patients with spinal cord injury: efficacy/safety of GH replacement, a pilot study
This link suggests people with Back/Spinal Injuries have lower natural HGH and the supplementation can be beneficial.

A European Study similar to the first.

Hope this helps.

I'd say you're better off running a course of BPC-157/TB-500. BPC has some pretty rave reviews for a lot of things if you read around just make sure you're using a good source.

Have you used TB-500 in the past? BPC has been crazy good for my rotator cuff but I've heard mixed things about TB-500 for muscles.
