Beginning HRT and already feeling benefits

Bros,
Maybe it is a placebo effect, but I've been on HRT only 3 days (150mg Test Cyp taken on the 13th) and I feel terrific. I'm energetic, not so gloomy, etc. I talked on the phone with a customer service representative from my mobile service to cancel it, and I didn't have an anxiety attack (I'm not kidding, this used to happen before). I know the Cypionate esters differ little from the others... but could I be feeling ACTUAL effects from the Cyp? Or is this something else?

the test cyp reaches a peak on day 2 so it's possible. Of course you've seen posts from guys who experienced a much slower course of events. Glad to hear you're feeling well.

Yes, some gents report positive benefits within the first days. The rapid acceleration in serum androgen levels is responsible. The direction hormone levels are moving in is as important as their actual levels to the way we feel.

My roommate in university had an anxiety attack after taking a few drags of pot....they thought he was having an allergic reaction to the joint and sent him to ER, only to find that there was absolutely no drugs in his blood...apparently it was all psychological :D

I hope it all works out for you. I am sure the shots are better then the gels. I stopped using testim gel and started on 100 mg depo shots every week. The shot was good for the first 4 days then I started back sliding. So my Dr. upped the shot to 150 mg. every week. I just got back from his office getting a shot. I am doing so much better on the shots then I ever did on the patch, compounds, pellets and gels. The funny thing about this is 15 yrs. ago my treatment was shots but then they gave the shot every month then switched to every 2 weeks this was still a roller coaster ride. Doing the shots every week is keeping my E2 in check and I have no more joint and muscle pain. I have had panic attacks for over 15 yrs. I am now finding that it was caused by my E2 being to high. I take Indolplex/DIM one half a pill a day and this along with the weekly shots I have not had a panic attack in 2 months.

a little off topic, but where do those who take indoplex/dim purchase it from? and what brand are you using?
This is the best price and a lot of us are having good results with this. A link.

:D LOL... sucks doesn't it!? I used to get short of break, have hot flashes, and even studder on the phone. Now I can talk clearly and with confidence. It's great!

I'm glad to hear that things are looking up for you, bro. Hormone therapy is pretty amazing stuff when administered correctly. I think the study and understanding of hormones has finally caught up to the dynamic of proper hormone therapy.

I started reading articles about gene doping and IGF-1 stuff... just amazing what we'll be able to do in terms of longevity in 20 years time.

It is amazing just 4 yrs. ago and still today if one sees his Dr. and wants his E2 Estradiol checked most Dr.'s look at him like he is nuts. I still today can't believe the problems I had form this. I lost 15 yrs. of my sex life from high E2. I post a lot at the ASI board at Yahoo for ED.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Alt-Support-Impotence-ASI/
When I started posting how I got me ED 80% better and was getting morning wood again. After bring my high E2 down. You would not believe how many men went and got there E2 tested and found they were high and this was cause them most of there problems.

No one can tell me the drug co.'s did not know that when they came out with the patch and gels after testing them that men using TRT will have high E2 levels. Yet nothing was said or done about this.

If I remeber right the Androgel insert states that E2 levels can rise from use of there product. But any local Dr I have gone to GP or Endo or Urologist has totlly blown that off.

Hell you would not believe what I went though to get my Dr. to test me. Then when the test came back I could not get him to give me Arimidex. I got real mad after trying Zinc and DIM the wrong kind and told him I am going to see a new Dr. if he does not give me Arimidex. He gave me the script but told me my BCBS will not pay for it and he was shocked when they did.
Now he checks all his men.

OMG you poor bastard, I have had problems with thiat in the past and now that I think of it it was when I was basically hell bent for 300# and doing some very stupid dosages. My E levels must have been through the roof (I did check my BP and it did not get THAT bad) but I never made the connection until you pointed that out. Man I was such an idiot back then, anything for 5 more lbs.

Panic attacs are the absolute worse thing for anyone to go through IMHO glad to hear you have them under control!

Yes it was hell and unless you have been there you have no idea the hell it is. But all is good now I only wish that 21 yrs. ago there were Dr.'s like SWALE and my Dr. that could have helped me back then. Having a health problem and not getting the proper treatment to me is worse the the problem. I went through 5 yrs. of Anti-Depressant meds that screwed up my sex life, my job and almost cost me my family.
They had me so drugged up I was walking around like a Zombie. And I was not suffering from Depression but had Low Testosterone. After 5 yrs. on this crap I had to go into a rehab hosp. to get off all of the AD meds they had me on. When I started on TRT all they had was pills that women used. I had to take a lot but it make me feel better lucky for me I was only on the pills for 3 months and then the shot came out. I was off of work more then I was there and people would look at me and say you don't look sick to me I got so sick of hearing this that I started getting into peoples face when they said it to me. I was coming back to work from sick leave and Chrysler locked me out of work I was an Engineer but in the union UAW and the union was no help. I could not believe the discrimination I went through. I had to go to the EEOC "U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission" and make a complaint against the Chrysler and the Union to get back to work. But instead the EEOC pressed charges against them for discrimination and took them to court. This is how I ended up retired at 55 yrs. some 6 yrs. ago. I could not believe how my work treated me because I was sick. But all is good now and I just hope no one has to go through what I did.

Truer words have never been spoken, your experience is somewhat parallel with my own.
I am an automation engineer by trade, I was also a zombie for 2 years 60mg a day of paxil will do that to a person. The depression was so bad I wanted to die every waking minute, being a zombie was not too bad after going through that hell.
