Anyone read this?

I ran across this guy maybe a few days ago, and
his Intention (continuous tension) is very interesting to me.

I only been doing this with my chest cause I try to pre-exhaust
my chest since I can't get pec-deck now at home, so I push my hands together while doing a pushup like as if I was doing a fly or pek-deck, then I see this guy's article about this.

I want to know what he recommends on other exercises to keep tension on muscles without having to worry about consciously squeezing them.

If you have read his stuff, you will know what I mean.

Well, let me know

Thanks

Yea I've seen a couple vids where he and Vince Delmonte give some training tips. Ben is definately a monster.
If I understand you correctly, you're basically just wanting to keep tension on the muscles throughout the entire set.
Now with the bench press I believe he says something about gripping the bar and shoving your hands together (but dont actually let them move)
And with lat pulldowns and barbell rows he said the same thing except to go outward. Ive been applying these techniques for a while and yea they make a difference.
As for keeping tension on, in general:
First, cut out momentum, control the weight up and down.
With the exception of tricep exercises, avoid locking your arms/elbows out. Like with the bench press, when you go all the way up and lock your elbows out, the tension is reduced. So to fix this, just go 95% of the way up.
Another thing, avoid resting points. I never let my arms go all the way down when doing curls; I don't let my arms hang freely when doing dumbbell rows.
Hope this helps
