Best Concert You've Attended

I just went through the best rock band ever thread and it brought back some memories. With summer coming up and all, there will be quite a few concerts to attend (although I'm not overly excited to see most of them) I enjoy going to concerts with friends.

I'm curious what some of you guys would list as the best concert you have attended?

Mine would be the U2 concert for their last tour. Awesome- loud, front row (general admission) good friends and good music. I think someone might have slipped something in my drink though ;)

1. 1996 - Black Crowes in a 300 person venue in Boston. They played under the assumed name the "O.D. Jubilee Band".

2. Summer 2003 - Bruce Springsteen at Fenway Park. Yes Fenway Park.

To many to single out one.

Metalica. then 1.5 hrs later G&R came out and put me to sleep. FU axle
Skynard. one yr before the plane crash
Rush 5 or 6 times Neil Purtt greatest drummer of all time. no argument
Old areosmith when they cared about givin a good concert
Kiss when I was 14, 3 ft from the stage. Gene Simmons side
Bob Segar and J. Giels always put on a great show
and the list goes on &on &on...............11

the Floyd Division Bell tour in ??93?? was an umbelievable show... Dead @ Highgate in 97 was a drunken good time as well.. damn i'm getting old. :D

Best I've seen was Kid Rock a few years ago at the Toledo sports coliseum, general addmission on the floor which wasn't muck bigger then a hockey rink, I was so close I could have spit on him, and the maush (sp?) pit was right behind us, fighting and rock and roll baby! Oh yeah and boobs

No doubt Pink Floyd.Crew..I was at 2 of those Floyd shows and both highgate dead shows. The first year when that gay Canadian band opened (yousendour or some shit) I partied in the lot till the dead came on but did not miss Dylan for the second show. I stayed a week both times and cannot remember a better time or getting laid more by a different chick every night.

See avatar... seen em 3 times, and seeing them again at the end of this month. Also, Iron Maiden... Somewhere in Time.

I have see some great shows, Ozzy with Randy Rhoads, Deap Purple with all orig members, AC/DC Back in Black tour, Aerosmith Back in the Saddle tour two nights in a row and a ton more. But as GREAT as all these bands are Tool is by far the best concert I have ever seen.

Rage Against the Machine @ Roseland Ballroom NYC - summer of '97

&

Pearl Jam @ some shithole club in NYC which held about 100 people (cant remember the name) '94

Best concert, in terms of entertainment and fun-factor, would definitely be Garth Brooks. Awesome show!

He has a big house and a bunch of land in Owasso, Oklahoma. I guess he moved out of the big house and set up a trailer (wonder if its a double wide?) on his land so he could bang Trisha Yearwood (sp?)

Why would he move out of his house? Hes a single guy and has been dating Trisha for a few years now.

'97 Ozzfest was great. I have gone to Ozzfest every year since it's beginning. Also Iron Maiden a few years back....awesome show.
