I've been eating 3lbs of HEB "99% Natural - No Antibiotics" frozen chicken breasts.daily. About $5 a pound.
Without fail, if there's any left the next day it has a tin like smell and taste. It's just gross.

What chicken are you guys eating that is still good for at least a day?

Thanks!

Maybe just trying multiple different brands of chicken, and testing it, Another way would be to freeze and then unfreeze when you’re going to use it. never heard that Chicken goes bad in a day

Costco’s kirkland brand. Their quality of meat is always top notch and their prices can’t be beat. I pay $20 for 6.5 lbs for their chicken breast.

Seriously though costco is where it’s at. Salmon, chicken breast, ground turkey, egg whites, etc. They have the best prices, quality meat and you are buying in bulk

Love me some HEB as well but would get very expensive buying my meats from them

Costco $5 rotisserie chickens. If you math it up $5 for a whole chicken us unbeatable. I buy 3 a week and eat them all. You just have to be aware that the legs and thighs have a different macro breakdown as in more fat, less protein

I bring them home and carve them up immediately. I put them into storage containers and freeze half of it for a day or two.

How long would cooked rotisserie chickens last in the freezer? Just like frozen chicken? I do like the convenience of having my freezer full of chicken.

Bell & Evans air chilled. Just seems to not be as dry as regular chicken breast. My daughter says their chicken nuggets are the best too, so there’s that.

If you don't live in the city limits you can raise chickens yourself. I have 17 chickens and I use them only for eggs.

Thinking of buying a couple of cows

Finally found a chicken that tastes really good, and lasts for at least 24-30 hours, without adding taco sauce, A1, thousand island dressing and half a pound of salt: The HEB, Central Market Air Chilled chicken breasts.

It blows that it's $9.99 a pound but I was about to quit eating chicken.

God BIden sucks
