Myprotein and true nutrition are the best bang for the buck in most cases for except when you see blowout deals. I wouldn't overthink it. It's protein, stick with what you like.

I typically go to this website and scroll through until I see the most cost effective option, but they're usually pretty similar in price. TrueNutrition is often not on here for some reason but they will provide you with their lab testing.

True nutrition seems pretty expensive from what I can tell. Looks like a dollar per serving/scoop across all their products

Few years ago I was buying Now Foods Whey Protein Isolate Unflavored 10 lb bags. It wasn't the cheapest but technically it was considering it had 0 additives and the only ingredient was pure 100% whey protein isolate but they seemed to have discontinued it in Canada lately ???
I've also used beef protein isolate from truenutrition. It has a playdo taste to it but it does what it's supposed to. Not the cheapest but always seemed decent quality. They've had slower shipping times in my experience over the last year or so tho

If you use it regularly & don't mind flavouring it yourself, it might be worth a bit of googling for "whey protein concentrate 20kg" (or a weight thereabouts) if you want the ultimate in value.
Eg in the UK, I can buy a 20kg sack of good quality unflavoured WPC80 for £150 ($200) delivered, from a wholesaler that also does retail. As a price comparison, 5kg of unflavoured WPC from myprotein would cost me £70 ish ($92), so almost double the price.
Quite likely there's firms in the US that do similar bulk deals, you just don't tend to see them discussed on forums nowadays. Repackage into Mylar foil bags & top up an empty tub as & when & shelf life will be good for 1-2 years.
