Blood Pressure

I got Cilnidipine in from India.
I grabbed 150 tablets, all nicely blister packed. From what I can tell, should be about 2 weeks before full impact combined with telemarstin

Working great for me!

Was on Telm/Amlodipine 40/10. Now Telm/Cilnidipine 40/10.

In theory I should need 20mg Cilnipidine for the same BP reduction as 10mg Amlodipine, but after weeks my BP has dropped a couple more points, and my resting heart rate has dropped by 3 beats.

On the "feels" front, my background anxiety level has dropped (I feel calmer, like a low dose propranolol) and I'm sleeping better per my sleep tracker,

I'm considering dropping Telm to 20mg, and increasing Cilnipidine to 20mg, to get more of the sympathetic adrenaline release blocking I seem to be benefitting greatly from, to drop RHR more, perhaps sleep even better, while keeping BP at current levels.

Also, although I didn't notice edema from the amlodipine before, my shoes are looser, and my face a little less puffy, so it looks like I had a little water retention that the Cilnipidine has reduced.

I was prescribed Valsartan 80 / HCTZ 12.5 to take in the morning.
I’d like to add Telmisartan 40 in the evening.
Is there any issue with taking two ARBs, or even two calcium channel blockers — for example, Lercanidipine 5 mg in the morning and Amlodipine 5 mg in the evening?
All of this is mainly for logistical convenience
@Ghoul please

Yes. It's never advisable to use two same-class hypertension meds. The same way a low dose of two different class meds will synergistically amplify blood pressure improvement while reducing side effects vs a higher dose of either one used singularly, two same class meds, generally speaking, synergistically amplify side effects while each becomes less effective at lowering BP because their mechanisms of action overlap.

These meds are super cheap and easy to access with an online prescription or via India, so you should be able to dial in the protocol that's perfect for
you.

You can even get Telm/Cilnipidine/diuretic combo tabs

Thank you very much:

I know, but unfortunately it's impossible to deliver to France via India.

Oh shit 1000$ for a cycle that is mostly a permanent and France has mostly free healthcare so you can get it prescribed from a specialist.

Yeah poor guy... No wait,

Oh wait if only France was one of the few country in Europe that can receive packages from India easily...

According to @Sampei it's easy to get India meds in France. Maybe he can help.
