Blood test results opinions

Hi:

I just got some blood test results and would like to hear opinions.

TESTOSTERONE, TOTAL 5839 pg/ml (583.9 ng/dl) ranges (3000-13000)
TESTOSTERONE, FREE 16.5 pg/ml ranges (9.0-47.0)
TESTOSTERONE, FREE % 2.8 % ranges (2.0-4.8)
LH = 3.46 mUI/mL ranges (1.26-10.05)
FSH = 4.17 UI/L ranges (1.37-13.58)
Estradiol(E2) = 55 pg/mL ranges (25.0-107.0)
PSA = 1.15 ng/mL ranges (< 4.10)

I was reading in the Life Extension Foundation "Disease Prevention and
Treatment" book that estradiol levels should be < 54 pg/ml, being
optimal 10-30 pg/ml, but looks like my lab reference ranges are
too wide.

Maybe the blood testing method that my lab used (chemiluminescence) is a different one than the one used in LEF's E2 ranges recommendations

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Roberto

P.S. I'm 29 years old by the way.

honestly IMO everything looks great, although more free test=better. Don't worry about the estradiol lvl, just get follow up bloodwork done to see if it changes. That level of estrogen may be your particular baseline or norm. If you wanted to you could always ask the doc what his opinion is. good luck ;)

What are your symptoms, if any, and do you have any other medical issues? Any AAS or prohormone use? If so, explain.

My main symptoms are fatigue, difficulty concentrating, anxiety and digestive problems.

I also suffer from hypoglycemia and low blood pressure (specially after rising).

I don't have low libido though.

I am not using any prohormones or AAS.

I have a question regarding DHEA. As far as I know, this hormone can be converted either to testosterone or estrogens, or both. How do you know if it will be converted to either one?

Does the only way to know this is by checking your testosterone and estrogen levels, particularly estradiol?

Is it worth for a male to check for estrone and estriol?

Can a male taking DHEA produce too much estrogen?

I also read that taking pure testosterone can be converted to too much estrogen (which is not good), and that taking prohormones like DHEA is a safer way, although I really don't know if this is true, as I am new to this stuff.

Thanks,
Roberto

This sounds like low SNS output. I would suspect thyroid could be at the root of such symptoms; you might want to get TSH, Free T3, and Free T4 checked.
