Blood tested gear but not growing

Hey guys I'm currently on my second cycle. My first cycle was a little over 3 years ago. It was 500mg test enth a week and I gained about 40-45lbs I jumped into aas too early and was barely a beginner so I had great gains. Anyway im on 500mg test and 300deca. I had a dbol kick-start starting at 25mg a day and upped it to 50mg a day. The dbol didn't seem to do much so I'll assume bunk. Before my cycle I dropped to 168 due to illness. I couldn't eat and barely lifted. Previous my max was 204. I went from 168 to about 194 which I'm at now, over 6-8 weeks. I've stayed around 190 for a couple weeks. I feel like this weight really is only gaining back my lost weight. I haven't seen the results I did on my first cycle. I also have no sides. 500mg test first cycle had me in awful acne and some bloat. Ive doubled my dose of both for about a week in a half. I went and got total test measured and it came back over 1500 which was the max. Any ideas what could be wrong. I feel like I should be blowing up. Im trying to find a test that goes over 1500. Thanks
 
Gonna be pretty much impossible to give any answers or tips without knowing what your diet and exercise plans look like.
 
I wasn't tracking my diet as i was essentially just eating as much whole foods as possible. I like to keep things simple and eat like 10 things. Ground turkey, chicken breast, Greek yogurt, berries, PB sandwich on whole wheat, baked potatoes, and rice. I try and eat about 12 whole eggs a day when I can. Past couple have days have equated to 2500-3500cals. I gain fat extremely easy.

I do chest/tri back/bi shoulders/arms splits. I'll do some very heavy leg work trickled in each time. Depending on soreness I'll get 3-5 splits in a week. I like to lift heavy and stay in the 6-8 range.

Don't know your physical stats, but 3500 calories isn't very high for most guys around the 200lb mark looking to bulk up.

As much of a pain in the ass as it can be, you should be tracking your calories as close as you can, including your macros. If you're eating at maintenance every day and burn a lot of those calories in the gym or at work, you aren't going to grow very fast... even on a test+deca combo.
 
Wait, you were 168lbs before cycle @ 8 weeks ago and now your 194lbs?
That's up 26 pounds in 2 months!

apparently you got a "capped" Test, therefore, your Total T won't show anything >1500. You have to get the LC/MS/MS if you want an exact number up to 10,000!

After how many weeks did you get this test? Did you get your Lipids checked also? Taking Dbol, you want to keep an eye on your liver.
 
I was 204 at my heaviest. I dropped to 168 due to an extended illness. I could hardly eat and was consuming less than 1000 calories a day and unable to workout. So most of the gain was just recouping my lost mass and glycogen stores. My key lifts have not gone up from the point they were when I was 204. Meaning when I was 204 at my heaviest I was lifting the same as I am now. Today starts week 8. I believe I missed a week as I as pretty fed up with the results of the cycle thus far and was going to stop. That's when my source said get a blood test and they will refund if bunk. I'm certain the dbol was fake tho. At 50mg a day I would have had to keep a close eye on blood pressure. I check mine with a stethoscope like they don't the doctor. This cycle will be 14 weeks. It will be followed by a 6 week time off and short test/tren cycle to cut up before my first show
 
You should have gained most of your weight back before jumpin on cycle... And gaining 26 pounds in two months your gear ain't bunk... With what you post so far, you shouldn't be taking any gear

Lifting seriously consecutively for about 2 years. Non seriously for 3-4 years. I would like to compete and due to usage 3+ years ago cannot do a natural comp. I refuse to step on stage if I don't think I would place. I'm not up there to have "Fun"

Thanks for your comments. The weight gain so far is great. However I've totally stalled. And from research deca starts to really kick in around this time, which is what has me confused

I get your trying to say that your serious about lifting, but if it ain't no "fun"..what's the point, really.

But back on a serious note, you got blood just recently, right? Post them.

When it comes to diet, there's basically 3 "stages". Deficit, maintenance and surplus.

As you gain more weight, what was once a surplus is now maintenance, if you continually eat around the same amount of food that you did previously.

From what you've said, the gear doesn't seem bunk, you just need to up them calories.

i'm in the same boat as you, i gain fat easily, but as long as you don't reach that surplus by eating deep fried, double salted garbage, you shouldn't have to worry much.

Dbol started to manifest between week 2 -- 4...by week 8 you should really be done with it, unless your bloods look good enough for another 2 weeks maybe.

14%bf? Based on what measure?
 
Yes I got blood drawn last Thursday and results friday. My total test just said >1500.

Typo I meant Deca not dbol. I took dbol for first 5 weeks till I ran out.

I'll definitely up my calories and shoot for 4000+. That has been the advice of my enhanced friends as well

Body fat measured using calipers. It's about 14. I'm not worried about exact numbers. Could be 12 could be 16. Just giving an idea of amount of lean mass.

I think you ment deca and not dbol.. Dbol is out of your system if you stopped it by now...

Deca isn't going to make you gain a ton of weight after you put a ton on with dbol... It will help you maintain the weight you gained with the dbol.... Also if those numbers are real I would stop worrying about your strength because you already are top 1% .. Plus strength don't sound like your goals, if you want to gain more, eat more.... Up your cals
 
Ok, seems like I definitely just need to up my cals. Physically I think the only way to handle more food is to get those cals by upping fat. I'll start encorperating more healthy fats.

You said the total test blood work only showed 1500 max? That's because you got the wrong blood test. If it max at 1500, then that's the blood test you take pre cycle not mid cycle.
 
Alright just a check in. I really didn't think it would cause this much of a difference but I upped my calories as much as physically possible. To do this i had to start rating more red meats and carbs. I tracked my cals for the past few days. I averaged about 4500 cals with one day getting to about 6000. Large dairy Queen blizzards are about 1500cals. I started letting my clean diet get more dirty and I can honestly say I'm pretty damn happy. I'm up 4 lbs from monday most likely due to water/glycogen but my last workout was incredible. I was there for two hours and only left because it was getting too late. I found a few new veins particularly in my triceps as a plus. I'm kicking myself for not upping my calories at the start. I'll check back with results in a week or two

That's awesome. Some people take alot of calories. I'm currently at 4900 and if I'm lucky I can see a pound or two per month. Big meals, every two hours. Lots and lots of carbs

You can also get a lot of calories from fat and drop your carbs lower.
