I tought AP had premium shit? This is really depressing, one thing I dont understand is why would a lab ruin their reputation like that? From what I understood raw test powder is pretty cheap no?
my same thoughts. They already have an established operation, equipment, source of raws, resellers, and customer base... why the fuak cut corners!?!? would make much more sense to produce a stellar product and then you would have more demand than what you could ever produce for as long as you would like to make money. instead, these places sneak out a little extra cash in the short run and then everyone catches on and is done with the brand.
I was a chemist (degree, real lab, millions of dollars of equipment) for years before I had to leave due to health issues. It is not that hard to use a
separatory funnel to wash out the inorganics such as metal ions into an aqueous layer then drain off the orgnaic (where your product would be) evaporate that down. Next recrystallize the material to remove other impurities. This would give a very pure starting material. IF it was a big enough operation they could even go as far as to set-up big (couple inch diameter) column chromatograhy before the recrystalization and collect only the desired fraction (part of the solution with what you want in it).
Dedicate a room as a clean-room. make sure air does not flow into the room anywhere uncontrolled. The controled air source should have a filter on it (easy) and put a few cheap ionic or physical filters in the room (what do they cost, like less than $100?). Dedicated bench tops that are only used as a station for a specific step in the process (no sharing the space to cook your breakfast or take a bath like some ghetto meth-lab). One could even lay down sheets of big aluminum foil that has been whipped with alcohol to work on, and then throw it away after the days work so it is always a fresh sterile surface and less of a chance of cross contamination from the bench-top.
Wash glass wares with soap and water, water rinse, then acetone or alcohol rinse. Bake the glassware in an oven before using. Autoclave vials and stoppers. Heat oils to a temp that kills microbes but dose not damage the oil, use BA, use a .22 filter (don't be cheap or lazy...a little extra effort and time will equal a superior product and a good name). Wear a hair cap, fresh gloves, a clean dedicated lab-coat, and mask in the clean room. Change into clean-room uniform right before entering the room and store said cloths in a locker right next to the door to the room so no one wears the clean-cloths around other places and picks up contaminants (really not expensive or difficult to stay clean, these "labs" are just lazy).
We are not talking anything very high-tech or expensive here and it would get us to the 98%+ purity and clean/sterile. Then just don't be a cheap fuak!--actually dose the brew accurate to what is going to be printed on the label.
Guarantee with a super pure high quality accurately dosed product the lab could charge accordingly and have more demand then they could possibly fill once word gets around regarding the experience of end users.
It is so disappointing and a waste that shit is not done right--do it right and steroids won't have such a bad name because the target compounds are not that bad; it is the bullshit other problems from wrong dosing and impurities or not sterile that makes it scary.
