Bloodwork needed to test GH

I'm going to start a new brand of GH, would it be sufficient to test serum gh 3 hours after taking 10 iu, or should an igf1 test be done as well to get a good idea of quality? Should the bolus dose of gh be subq or IM? I've done this before but am having trouble remembering the specifics.

Serum you can do now, igf wait till your on for I think the protocol is about 6 weeks?
