If I get blood work done which do I need to diagnose low t free test or total test. My reason for asking is at the lab near me it is cheaper to get just the total tested.

Both to paint the clearest picture of what is going on. Total alone may be in acceptable range but how much of it is bound can have impact as well.

If you where to go to a doc he'd order free test..... Then make you go back and get total for whole picture^^ like said above...... spend the $
