Bloody Mess!!!!

I take my injections on Mondays and Thursdays, usually with no problems. However, for the last, oh, lets say, 3 weeks, every injection I do I end up with a stream of blood pouring from the injection site. I'm sure I'm doing everything right, and I rotate from my shoulders to my quads (my glutes are not good for me). I use 23 g, 1 in needles, 1 ml at a time. I also follow the techniques shown on a certain site injection website that has been talked about on the boards. Question ONe: Does this happen to anyone else? Number two: Am I losing some of the valuable stuff when I bleed?

it happens to me all the time when shooting into my delts, even though i aspirate

try injecting slower

try waiting a couple seconds before pulling the needle out

i would not worry about losing juice, it is most likely just blood, if it was juice comming out you would have oil running down your arm, which has happened to me before also

Happened to me a couple of times too--not fun. I've even had it shoot across the room once. I agree with PUMPED; inject slower and pull needle out after a brief pause--slowly! I have an alcohol pad right there too and I press down around the site as I'm pulling the needle out. Then, after the needle is out, I press right on that spot and rub deeply for a minute. I hardly ever get blood when employing these techniques. Good luck bro!

yeah it sucks-happens when I hit a vein (usually will know this because of the dull pain when I go through the vein) went through an artery a couple of times before in the glute-blood squirted out across the room, pulsating with my heart...would have scared me if I didn't find it so amusing-only lasted a couple of seconds-shit happens.
