Cyniq, first off I like your taste in Hemingway. The Sun Also Rises is definitely one of my favs.
Anyway, Madcow's list is great. IMO, however, if you've read Supertraining you have effectively read them all. Therefore, I would recommend going to elitefts.com and buying it. Be forewarned, however, that the first time through it it is intimidating...like worse than The Sound and the Fury by Faulkner.
I think it would be a great idea if we had a Supertraining class on here, like a big thread going through the book section by section with discussion, questions, etc. There is a lot to be learned from that book. I would definitely like going through it again (5th time) because each time you read it you see something you didn't see before. If you know that book, you essentially know strength training theory to a tee.
Let me also suggest Facts and Fallacies by Mel Siff as well. It is an easier read, and he dispels a lot of myths that abound in the fitness world. That guy had a bullshit detector like no other.
