Bottle top filtration/media bottle storage question

Sup Fellas,

Just to preface, I'm a noob and I haven't homebrewed anything yet.

Instead of using vials, I'm planning to store my oils in media bottles with an aperture in the cap to fit a rubber stopper. I plan to reuse these media bottles and caps over time, but I'll be tossing the rubber stoppers and replacing them with fresh ones whenever I empty the bottle. I'm going to be hunting for a decent second hand autoclave up until I'm ready to start brewing.

I'll be going down the bottle top filtration route, so I was thinking, if I'm going to filter directly into a media bottle, wouldn't it be pretty convenient to pop a cap on it and call it a day there? Do you think there are any issues with this?

There are no issues with that since you would have sterilized the media bottle prior to filling it up.

Whether the mix sits in the MB for an hour or a month or 6 months before transferring to vials makes no real difference.

The risk of contamination from the headspace air in the MB is incredibly small to begin with (virtually non-existent due to the BA/BB in the mix) and doesn't go up or down no matter the interval between filling the MB and vial transfer.
