Any experiences with oral or sublingual bpc157 for ibs? Found these posts, sounds very promising.
Just wanted to follow up on my original post:
Oral BPC-157 Has Given Me the First Symptom-Free Weeks of My Life
I’m now over 4 weeks in, and I’m still symptom-free. Zero GI issues, no urgency, no cramping, no bloating, nothing. For someone who’s dealt with lifelong digestive problems and an IBS diagnosis, this kind of stability is a first.
A few updates since my last post:
I’ve settled on a daily dose of 500 mcg and have stayed consistent with that.
I’ve switched from mixing it with water to simply squirting it under my tongue (sublingual) and holding it there for absorption.
I’m still taking it first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach.
At this dose, one vial lasts me about 20 days, so I’ve continued using bacteriostatic water (BAC) for reconstitution. I know some people are concerned about using BAC orally, so here’s what I’ve shared before:
It depends on how quickly you’ll use the reconstituted BPC. There isn’t much safety data on swallowing BAC. The benzyl alcohol content is very low, and in the small amounts you’d be using, it’s unlikely to be harmful, especially sublingually.
If you’ll get through the vial within 3–7 days, the safer option is to reconstitute with sterile water for injection or plain sterile saline instead.
Personally, I’ve had no side effects, and the gut benefits have been nothing short of incredible. I’ve eaten foods I would’ve never dared to touch before—and still nothing. Stable digestion, no surprises, no issues.
And now for the ultimate test: I’m planning to eat at a Mongolian BBQ place soon. If that doesn’t destroy me, nothing will.
I’m not calling this a cure, but it’s been the most consistent and reliable gut relief I’ve ever had. If you’ve been dealing with IBS or other chronic GI symptoms, oral BPC-157 might be worth a look.
Happy to answer questions or keep updating.
Since I haven’t posted here before, I wanted to briefly summarize: I’ve had IBS my entire life. I had my gall bladder removed decades ago, and like many others, I was given the IBS label when nothing else explained the symptoms. My digestion has always been unpredictable, and I’ve never gone more than a few days without issues. Until now.
I’ve been taking oral BPC-157 (not injected, no tablets or capsules), sublingually. I hold the dose under my tongue once a day, first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything. I take 500 mcg daily, using the injectable version reconstituted with bacteriostatic water. A 10 mg vial lasts me 20 days.
It’s now been over a month, and I’ve had zero GI symptoms. No urgency, no bloating, no discomfort. Nothing. It’s the most consistent relief I’ve ever experienced.
