Building Mass on Calorie Deficit

The first pounds will come off easier, and your appetite is also higher in the beginning, if you suddenly drop your calories much lower than you're used to you'll likely feel hungry and shitty all the time. Just keep dropping them a bit and as your stomach shrinks you might not feel that say 2000 or even less calories is very little. Maybe you don't need to go that low, maybe you do. You have to learn what is best for yourself. You've noted 3 lbs lost, great, keep weighing yourself at the same time/state and go by the mirror and if the results slow down then cut your calories or increase cardio etc. Try to keep the protein high or constant and decrease carbs and fats, ie if you keep your macro % split stays the same as you drop calories you'll more likely burn muscle and not change your body composition as much.

Down another three pounds for six total and feeling pretty good about myself!

I've finally got back into a weight training routine and added another day of fasted cardio but I'm thinking about trading the elliptical in for a heavy bag and hitting that (literally) three times a week at least. Figured I should at least get a good core workout in with the cardio.

Getting a little more vascular in my arms, but still got a long way to go before I'm where I want to be... 20170323_192702.jpg
