Can you send payment from any bitcoin atm?

OK so coin base says I don’t exist and the cash app just won’t to scan the back of my iD I’ve emailed cash app pictures but I haven’t heard back.
This cryptocurrency shit is kicking my ass.
So I’m trying to ask a question based on what I think I understand about bitcoin ATMs let’s say I don’t have a Wallet on my phone can I go to a bitcoin ATM and for example by $200 in bitcoin and I’ll get a little receipt that will have a unique code on it do I then give that code to whoever I’m sending to?? Please tell me it’s that easy .

You need to make your own wallet at home first.

Get the QR code for your wallet.

Then from the bitcoin ATM you scan your QR code and it will add money to your wallet.

Then you can send it to anyone at home from your wallet.
