Cardio Before Blood Draw

So I know training before blood pull is a no go, but does anyone know if I do fasted cardio a couple hours before the blood draw if I would significantly skew results?

You cant take a break for just one day? If your BP is too high they wont draw. Just take a rest day and for a couple days after. Use the time to recover.

Why is training a no go?

It might drop skew your results a little bit but not by that much... If you're on a cycle or TRT it's not going to skew the hormonal results much at all. Liver values might be a bit elevated... Just be hydrated and don't go balls to the wall.

Same goes for cardio.

Thanks, dude!

I’d personally avoid unless it’s very low intensity. It could increase CRP, Creatine Kinase and liver markers slightly, and I’d rather see how those values stand without being affected by muscle damage. If you’re not testing them though go ahead by all means.

Had blood drawn last week after a 36 hr fast and an hour of LISS. Doctor called 3 days later in a panic said I was going rhabdo, my CK was 1433! ALT/AST elevated along with a few other markers. Long story short just take it easy and nothing extreme a few days before bloodwork,

My first blood draw as a beginner was the morning after doing legs in the evening, so around 12 hours apart.
2 days later the nurse called and ask if i have heart pain because they assume i might have had an heart attack xD
CK was 8000 and at this time i had no clue how training affected blood values so i was quite in panic. The clueless doctors didnt know either so i had an echo, ultrasound of liver etc. etc.^^
5 days without training and it was back to around 400. This was the only time ive took rest due to my ck value since ive read tons of studies the days following this about how it can go up to 50k in marathon runners without any acute illness..

I ended up just hanging low and getting a little extra sleep as to not piss away the $150 I spent for the lab test. Plus, I was hungry as fuck at that point and really just wanted to keep my mind off eating any how. Pop-Tarts didn't stand a chance after the blood draw.
