Cardio before or after lifting??

I just remembered this morning, we should be abbreviating high intensity interval trainining as HIIT, not HIT- they are two different things

oops
Right. HIIT = good; HIT = bad.

I still think you should throw in 20 min of low intensity cardio after each weight training session, whilst sipping down your PWO shake the whole time. Doing this aids in recovery from the workout, helps clear free rads, and drives more amino's and glucose into the muscles.

I'm a physical and sometimes mental wreck after training, but throw in that 20 minutes, and I'm a new man. Just slamming the PWO shake after lifting doesn't come close.

luckily my school and its gym are a 15 min. walk from my house, so its always a good warmup and cool down before i get there. I've taken the advice of doing cardio in the morning and lifting in the afternoon, and lo and behold its working like gangbusters. One super side effect is that i don't snack in the middle of the day anymore because im focusing on what's coming up later in the day (the lifting portion). thanks guys, my progress has been great, about 2 lbs. a week for a month now, and not only have i not lost muscle, but because of the new lifting program ive started my squats and benchpress have grown!!!

one thing i have to add is that quitting alcohol has probably been the best move i've made in all of this. all my friends get on me calling me a bitch cause im not drinking, but i just feel so much better and im looking so much better, not to mention the money im saving, that its totally worth it.
