Carnitine cloudy after a few weeks

So I've filtered this carnitine in a large glass bottle about two weeks ago. After I was done filtering it was crystal clear. It was 500 mg/ml

I just had a look at it and is is cloudy af. I filtered 50 ml of it in a glass vial and it is clear again. Does anyone know what could have happened?

Maybe its just the picture but even in the 50ml glass looks very foamy on top. Mine was never cloudy nor foamy and I brewed 400-600mg/ml.

Personally I would rather throw it away, lcar base is pretty cheap. I would make another batch with way better sterility practices. If same results you know its something in the lcar base.

One thing thats only partially connected: I am not a fan of big vials because the more you hit it the bigger chance it gets contaminated. For sure here the problem is not the big vial- but maybe the sterility of it?

For this reason my preference is to make smaller batches but more frequent and to use max 10ml vials for the finished product. It might be good for pharma companies to use huge ass vials but their sterilization techniques are way better than ours at home.

I do the same procedure with every other compound with zero problems. I guess it might be the raw. I have another raw here so I will try it and see how it works out.

This will sound crazy, but I have had it perfectly clear by adjusting the ph and then accidentally hit the beaker and it immediately became cloudy again. I just immediately threw it away, so I can't speak to being able to get it clear again.

Just did a new test with a raw from a different batch from the same supplier.

On the very left is the filtered solution from the big bottle. On the very right is the new solution with a new raw. All 500 mg/ml.

Idk man, my lcar never looked this yellow, almost pee like. pre or post filtering.

I'd throw it away and get it from somewhere else. I can be mistaken tho,but I stil think the risk vs reward is terrible. What I think it was not properly cared when it comes to raw. It might got some humidity and bacteria or fungus could survive.

The colour is not the problem. My batches differed in colour from clear to yellowish. And quantity plays its role too. The sea looks blue but when you take a glass of water from it it is transparent.

What bothers me is the cloudiness.

Although the humidity could have done its part now that you brought that up. I had a few supplements in here clump from time to time. I think I should get a dehumidifier just to be sure. Thanks for the idea.

Was just going to mention, this compound goes cloudy, actually it "aggregates" like peptides do. when the PH is too far off 7.

You definately don't want to inject it.

Made these with new raw. They've been like this since yeaterday. Tho image is not really relevant. They are completely transparent. I will let them sit for a few days and have another look.

But I've already ordered dehumidifier since I checked the humidity in my area and it was 87%!

Just checked humidity levels in my area again. 97%!
I can't be sure but I think it definitely has something to do with the problems I've had with this one.

97% inside? you can cut the air at that point basically.
that is perfect condition for mold.

Are your walls/ base bad quality or what produces this much humidity?

It was on the weather forecast. I don't know how much is inside the room.

I've just tried making another solution (which I also used to make with zero problems) and it comes out cloudy too. Tried new filters, new bac water, everything and it is cloudy. I'm fckn depressed and confused.

Good to know, didn’t know carnitine required specific PH and was going to make some soon
