Chest sets

I’m doing Push Pull Legs Upper Lower and have a total of 22 sets

4 sets incline smith
4 sets flat smith
8 sets incline DB Press
3 sets chest fly
3 sets chest press machine.

This is spread over 3 days.

I’ve got pretty bad genetics and my upper chest seriously lacking. Like ridiculously. Basically no muscle all. Lower isn’t as bad.

on a 14 week cycle atm (test 400 mast 200) and want to milk every bit of muscle.

They say between 10 and 20 sets is good, so I figured it out a few more, just to get that upper chest moving.

Thought?

Looks good. I always aimed for about 2-3 sets of 10-12 and then 1-2 failure sets. Obviously, PLEASE always have your spotter ready on chest day.

I find most everything works early on as long as nutrition is adequate. People grow from food. Training is just to get the food to become muscle and not fat.

This.

Make sure you’re properly taxing the muscle (form, intensity, progress, yadda yadda) and you’ll get what you’re after as long as nutrition/recovery are good.
