That is only recommended at that dose for arterial hypertension.

O ok because I was thinking my head would pop at that dose who can handle that I bite a chip off of a 20 and I’m good for 2 days. Whats the normal regular dose for mild bp elevation

CIALIS currently has two FDA approved indications (BPH and ED) and while an inconsistent reduction in BP has been noted when combined with other antihypertensive medications, Cialis is NOT approved as primary, secondary or as tertiary anti-HTN therapy.

To that end your reference above is clearly NOT a bonafided medical site.

Yes I agree that dose is only prescribed for pulmonary arterial hypertension (which I have)! Adcirca(brand name) is 40mg tadalifil:

ADCIRCA (pronounced AD-SUR-KUH) is a prescription medicine called a phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor (PDE-5i) used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, high blood pressure in your lungs) to improve exercise ability.

ADCIRCA is the only PDE-5i for PAH taken once-daily
ADCIRCA can improve exercise ability
After 16 weeks of treatment, patients taking ADCIRCA increased their 6-minute walk distance (6MWD) by an average of 33 meters, or 108 feet compared to patients taking placebo (sugar pill)
It is not known if ADCIRCA is safe or effective in children
The most common side effects of ADCIRCA are headache, muscle pain, getting red or hot in the face (flushing), nausea, pain in the arms, legs or back, upset stomach, and stuffy or congested nose

Nonetheless if it were not for the COST Cialis (Tadalafil) may be useful as an adjunct to traditional antihypertensive therapy, bc of its 36 hour half life, and reasonably favorable pharmakokinetic profile.

However the former can also be a disadvantage of Cialis since prolonged HYPO-tension, as in a faint or dizzy feeling, is a very undesirable effect of any antihypertensive medication.

So yea some folk have noted an improvement in BP while taking PED-5s
but caution is advised bc these drugs tend have a rapid PEAK EFFECT and while that may work wonders for ED, its not necessarily good thing if a visit to the gym is on ones post sex schedule.

Agreed. Boners in the gym are uncomfortable! Lol. I’ve used low dose Sildenafil for PWO also. Pumps are great with both but the sides are definitely something to keep in mind. Especially if someone is using daily.

There's a HUGE difference between PAH and Essential Hypertension but if you or others wanna get a better idea about some of the side effects of either Sildenafil or Cialis at higher dosages PAH data MAY be worth viewing.

But careful interpretation is mandatory, bc the results of "exercise data" in PAH patients treated with ANY PDE-5 can not be extrapolated to those w or wo Essential HTN, BPH or ED, primarily bc PAH folk have a PATHOLOGIC condition that is reversible, at least in part, w PED-5 agents, and the latter is simply NOT the case in those who are using PED-5 for either ED, BPH or as adjunctive antihypertensive therapy.
