Clomid HRT

I wanted to share my experience with clomid hrt and ask a few questions to anyone else that has done so.

A few months ago I got bloodwork done, and my Test was 336. Went to see an hrt dr, new bloods showed Test at 304. I have no reason to have low Test, not obese, never done AAS, or any narcotics, not an alcoholic. Since I want children in the future, the dr put me on clomid 50mg ED and 1mg Anastrozole every week.

The 50mg clomid gave me headaches, so I split it in 2 doses, morning and afternoon after my workout. I felt the Anastrozle dose was too high, as I see people on AAS taking .25 eod or e3d. After my first pill, my sholders hurt and felt like rubber moving. I eventually settled to .25mg e3d and its been working "ok".

I made increadibly fast gains in the gym, was very surprised how easy it was to go up in weight. I suppose its the same feeling a normal person gets the first time they use AAS.

After a month on the clomid, my Test was 1014, the dr lowered my dose to 25mg per day now.

The only negative part of the treatment is the libido. The first week I was always ready to go, but since then Ive had little interest. I dont have a problem performing when i need to though. I wonder if I still dont have my estrogen controlled yet. Initial estro was 20, and last blood showed 41. If I dose the Anastrozole to .25 eod, my sholders get dry, but at e3d they are not, but my estro is still high. Whats up with that?

The dr suggested doing the full 1mg once per week as prescribed, what do you guys with more experience think?

Personally, i think the negative effects of clomid are exaggerated because of the internet. At low dosages, clomid is very effective. My urologist has many patients on 25 mgs per day for 2 years with no negative effects.
Ive been using 12.5 mgs every monday- wednesday- friday. My Total T is about 500.
I have decent gians in the gym and good energy. My libido is ok but then again you dont want a crazy high libido because thats not normal either. I would try 25 mgs per day and see how that goes. You want estrogen under 30 if possible. At 25 mgs you may not even need an anti estrogen; the less medications, the better. If your T levels are above 500, thats great. You dont want T levels too high. Yours are now over 1000 and thats too high.
Did you actually start 25 mgs yet? How long have you been on that dose?
How old are you?

Yes, I am on the 25mg for the last week. I assume that will put my test around 600-700 and ill be quite happy with that. It will take time for it to come down though, I read clomid stays in the system for weeks.

I am 33, 160lbs, 5'8"

I would call myself an expert on Clomid, read my many threads using it for three years mono therapy. I consider clomid an "evil" drug. It worked to raise my numbers and increased my muscle gain etc, SOME, but killed my libido and caused severe depression and moodiness. I only used 15mg every third day. I had natural T levels of 500 and this bumped me up to the mid 700's or close to 800. Sounds great on paper, but I was not myself.

Came off and took labs again and was still holding about 500-ish, but decided to just jump at age 49 and go into TRT. I am 4 months in and 3 months riding HGH. I started with a blast and went down to cruise, which was probably a mistake as I had some issues getting estrogen etc in line, but am finally there. I feel like a God. Everything in life is better and my body fat is melting away and I have erections on command. Vascular from the HGH, skin, hair, sleep, dreams, sense of well being all 110% improved.

You want my honest opinion? Flush clomid down the drain and go TRT, tweak and fine tune your regimen, plan on a few ups and downs getting things right, but once you do? Welcome to feeling like a damn man again. It's worth it.

To be fair, I monitor EVERYTHING, labs every few weeks, daily journals correlated with what I take etc, to see any patterns. It's paid off and then some.

How long on testosterone? What is your testosterone dose?
How old are you? What are your T levels?

You're post is well-written, so I won't suggest you are lying. But, your experience seems to be unusual, especially at those doses. Personally, I love taking clomid at 12.5mg per day and I've done it for some time. I have no side effects.

What is your test cruise dose that makes you "feel like a god"?

What are your T / free T numbers on that dose?

I am currently taking about 130-140mg of Test-C per week, keeping my test between 900-1100 and free test around 50 in the trough (post 3.5 days injection) I inject twice weekly. I take 350Iu's HCG the day after each T injection and 1mg per week of arimidex per week at.5mg twice weekly. I am also on 2ius of HGH per night before bed. I have completely transformed myself with this regimen. The only downside is I am sleepy off and on throughout each day due to HGH. But it's a good kind of sleepy. I plan to dose a little lower down to 120-ish as would like my test around 800-900. So I can blast 2-4 times per year.

I monitor my labs for literally everything and all is optimal thus far.

That's a super high free test for 1000 TT.

When I was at 1200TT my free T was at 36 and that's already 25% above top range.

Do you also take proviron? Otherwise you have supra low SHBG naturally.

I am a 70 year old man and have been using 12.5 mg clomid eodc for more than three years. I just had me blood drawn last week and my testosterone was 695, the highest has ever been. My E2, strangely was under 20. I would like to see my E2 a little higher. Any suggestions? By the my PSA was 2.4 below the midpoint of the normal range.
