So it didn’t take very long to realize how little I know about this world. After only a few weeks of reading and searching there hasn’t been much that I haven’t found something already talked about.
One question I’ve had about adding on to a dr prescribed TRT dose of 220mg a week. (Levels were in the 2-300 total range for over a year.)I’m coming up on lab work in two months. After I get those I’m thinking of adding more test and NPP for 2 and a half months after my dr appointment. It would be my first cycle other than the TRT. My question is, if I’m on cypionate with the TRT should I add more of that along with the NPP or a faster acting form along with the Cypionate? I’m only planning to go up to double what I’m on. And to keep the NPP slightly under the dose of test.
If there is a thread over this already could someone point me to it please? Thanks in anvance.

Just up your test. Don’t overcomplicate it by adding another compound, especially one notorious for sides.

If your TRT really is 220 (very fucking high, definitely an outlier unless you’re well past replacement levels..) just run 5-600mg/wk and eat like a champ and train your ass off. Learn from it and see what sides you get and how you react.

THEN when you do it again you’ll have even more knowledge and may decide to add another compound, or you may like the results you got and run that one again. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Also. You haven’t done much reading AT ALL if you’re asking this. There is literally 5 first cycle posts made a week with people asking your exact same question. Spoiler alert.. they all say 1 compound your first go, keep it simple, learn and grow.

Are you saying 2 and a half months because you want a 10 week cycle, or because you have more bloodwork through the doctor?

Is your doctor monitoring you to make sure you stay in proper levels?

Don’t want to go longer than 10-12 weeks. The dr is monitoring blood levels. I haven’t talked to him about anything else other than a few peptides for memory. Dr requires blood work every 6 months.

Maybe I haven’t read the right posts. Or I searched for something too specific. I’ll look at first cycle posts.

You should google testosterone half lives then lol better get prop or figure out a way for your overbearing doctor to go longer than 12 weeks. That’s a joke man. Is this private?

Thanks for the response. I am probably too eager wanting to add too much too soon.
Dr started me at 200 a week one time per week. At 6 months increased it to 220mg split to twice a week. Total had increased from low 300’s to mid 700’s. He didn’t mention that the dose was higher than he thought it should be.

Idk how overbearing he is. Still trying to feel him out. He was willing to prescribe me when the pcp wasn’t. I was thinking of adding on after the next appointment just to be safe and keep the script.

220 split into two shots a week has you in the 700’s? You sure? It’s technically possible (I’m a shit responder too) but man, that’s pretty rare/wild

No. That was at the 200mg per week.one time a week. Draw was the morning before injection. And he increased it to 220mg split.

220mg just to be at 700 is crazy. I take 80mg on a Sunday and bloodwork on Friday is in the 800s. Granted my a hyper responder. I’m just shocked at your total testosterone levels.

Is your testosterone not from a pharmacy? I guess it possible your body just doesn’t metabolize testosterone well

The 709 was at 200mg per week. I’ll be going in the first part on June and see what it’s at with 220. The test is from a compounding pharmacy.
