Exactly this. Food and training firstThe craziest mass I've ever put on was by eating 4200 cals of food a day (140-185) nothing beats food for mass. I have no experience with it but my workout partner tried it for a bit I didn't notice any difference in his size from it that he wouldn't have achieved anyways.
