That's not what I said. Your body treats alcohol as a toxin and deals with it first.

The biggest problem with alcohol is it makes you all shitty for your training days.
Ohhhh, gotcha. So, is it better to just drink before a rest day then? Definitely wouldn’t touch it on a blast, but would it be fine occasionally whilst on a cut, so as long as I monitor caloric intake and it doesn’t impede my workouts?

Drinking is fine if you aren't on orals, but why even drink junk when you're trying to get big?

Only asking because it’s Halloween weekend basically. Going to a party tonight and tomorrow. I rarely every drink and wa considering doing it this time though

Dude just fuckin drink! For fuck sakes its not like a weekend of drinking is gonna destroy ur body ive drank plenty of times and also have done blow while on cycle and it didnt change anything now if u were to drink on a consistent bases then I would see it being an issue
 
You want to cycle good, quality carbs during your cut. Oatmeal around your workouts is a great complex carb that provides slow release of energy for your workout and muscle maintenance on lower calories. Simple carbs, such as those from sugar, are very quickly processed and excess stored as fat. You should ditch processed sugars like those in pop tarts even in bulk mode, instead get real sugar from fruit. Fruit also has fiber, which is good for your insulin sensitivity. But during your cut you want to minimize sugar anyway. So get carbs from veggies, and eat a shitload of them because they are pretty low in carbs. And they help keep you full on a lower cal cut. And they have lots of micronutrients. And prob 1000 more reasons to load up on veggies during your cut.

Fats you want healthy unsaturated like those found in avocado, almonds, etc. You don't want to load up on saturated fat
How does one track the amount of carbs in veggies? They don't really give you nutrition facts on a head of lettuce

I don't track macros from (green) veggies. They're like freebies. Now if you're adding butters or sauces, etc then you'll want to track that.
