I gained about 20-25 pounds on my last cycle of 500mg of Deca and Cyp (250/ea) over 16 weeks. Lost about 10 of that within 3 months, but kept about 10 at 11% body fat.

This time I'm running 750mg of E, Prop, & PhenylProp (blend) for a short 8 week cycle (pre-loaded 1g first week). As of the start of week 4, my weight is up 15-20 pounds, and my Tanita scale says my body fat has increased by only 1-2%. I'm sure there's some substantial water weight gain in there considering how fast I gained weight, and the slight bloat I can see. And that probably has thrown off the normally reliable Tanita body fat measurements. My abs sure look like I'm carrying more than an extra 1-2%bf.

My calorie intake is around 4500-5000 calories a day average, and I'm working out about 6 days a week on average.

My goal this time is to gain 25-30 lbs, in hopes of keeping at least 10-15 at 11%bf. It seems like I'm off to a good start, but not sure what to expect from a Test only cycle, or if that's a reasonable expectation. I've modified my workout from previous cycles by doing more moderate weights and higher reps. My chest and shoulders are a primary focus this time as they tend to lag behind the rest of my body in responding to weights. So I'm doing one heavy/low rep chest day, and one light/high rep chest day. I'm going super light on legs, just maintenance this time, in hopes of not cannibalizing resources from the other areas of my body which are the focus of this cycle. But don't want to totally neglect them either over 8 weeks. This actually works out fine considering this is my first quad pin cycle and so far, my quads are not interested in doing any heavy work!
 
Looks like you got it figured out. In my opinion you are holding way too much water and it shows in your mirror. Disregard your scale in bf percentage and look at the mirror. To each its own though. Clean up your diet as i think there is room for improvement.

Thanks. So far that's the only side I've ever had on cycle. I will admit there's some room to clean up my diet on this cycle ... I'm eating too much restaurant food during the day at work and there's almost certainly too much salt intake under the circumstances. Previous cycles were squeaky clean though, and I still had it. I contemplated running an AI, but it's never been a huge problem before. I'll try to clean up my food.

Speaking of food -- I think I just hit a plateau in gaining weight at the start of the 4th week of my cycle. Over the last couple of days, I started to slide off my max weight gained since I started my cycle by a pound or two. One of the reasons I'm doing an 8 week cycle is because I plateaued my weight gain at 8 weeks, and was never able to gain over the next 8 weeks (though I didn't lose any weight either).

Now, that could be because I'm starting to release some water finally. But I also wonder if I need to increase my calorie intake, which I haven't exactly been scrutinizing in any serious way?
