Customs question!!!

If a package is caught by customs. Does your address get flagged domestically also?? fuk fuk fuk

I have abandoned every PO Box I have ever Customs letter sent to. Its better to be safe then sorry. But I will say this; about eight years ago my roommate and I got a PO Box because we didnt want our stuff send to our apartment. I placed an order and about one week later my roommate placed and order from a different source. My pack came first and got snagged by Customs. My roommates pack came through like no big deal two weeks after I got my first letter from Customs.

Customs does not look every address on every package so see if it is flaged. If they did it would take weeks to get your pack.

I have had customs letters and still recieved packs to the same address.

they will flag it if they want to...just like different amounts can get you a controlled delivery. i dont know if there is any rule they follow.

That sounds about right...I know several people who have still used boxes after receiving a customs letter.

I have seen it go both ways. A few years ago a freind was not able to get anything past the. Then again this could have been the result of crappy packing- who knows, but better safe then sorry- the few bucks to get a PMB is much cheaper and desirable then legal fees and associated consequences. Personally, domestic is the way to go. Good luck

A friend of mine recieved a siezure letter and an untouched pack on the same day.

Wow, what did he do? I would have to say that would build up to the worse case scenario.

Customs does indeed keep track of the addresses and names on packages which are seized. The information is kept in a database for reference. Unless customs sees a pattern of many attempted deliveries or a large delivery, I would say that you should be ok. Customs does not have time to go after small orders, they are looking for the big guys. Change the mailing address / PO Box and the shipping name if you awant to be safe. There is always the small chance though that things are slow and they just want to do some small controlled deliveries which means, you except the package, you get locked up. They also have sensors that can be placed in the package that can tell when the package is opened and send a low voltage signal to a receiver, then they knock on your door and hook you up.

If you use common sense then you should be fine.
