I don't know if that's the right name but it's what's stuck in my head. You basically make a super concentrated parent solution. Then from that you dilute it down in several "daughter" batches to achieve the desired concentration.

I've never once heard that term. But it's a perfect fucking description for dealing with mcg. Nice.
