Dan Duchaine vs FBI Article

Interesting article on Dan Duchaine, the original Steroid Guru. For us old-timers who received most of their information from The Underground Steroid Handbook and MM2000 back in the day, its an interesting read (though not new, its new to me).

BTW - If you are interested in how your dad used to get info, find an original copy of Muscle Media 2000 magazine and enjoy.

Nice article... lots in there I wasn't aware of!
Ya, I don't believe I've ever seen that article and most of its content. Dan D flipped a bitch and was giving those lame feds the business! Lol...Its not fun knowing your being surveilled!

Thank you, @OldGHGuy! I remember checking in at the magazine/tobacco shop every day knowing the new Flex, Ironman, mm2000 would be hitting the shelves any day. I started buying the mags in 1992 or 93. MM2000, Bill Phillips and the EAS supplements that he started were products I spent my money on. I drank lots of Myoplex. Phillips sold 2/3 or so of EAS for a cool 160 million years ago. He stayed on with the company for a # of years before selling out completely. Good for him he was able to cash in.

I remember when the new kid on the block supp company hit the scene. Muscle Tech was in direct competition for our money back then. Great tasting shakes, too. EAS was purple and white while Muscle Tech was bright red and white. Both very flashy and both tasted great.

I retired my GNC Gold Card a long time ago. I believe I kept my local GNC afloat for the few years before I found my first gear connect. I pissed away a lot of money.

Thanks for sharing brother! Lots of great shared experiences in there. It was a thrill to hit the newstand when the new mags came out. The younger generation doesnt quite understand it. Myoplex - yep! I used Met-Rx extensively too for a while (the meal replacement packets) as well as now-mostly-forgotten supplements such as Vanadyl Sulfate (great pumps), Chromium Picolinate (Chromium Fuel!) and Yohimbe Bark Extract

I was trying to remember the name of that meal replacement I used to buy at my local CVS when I lived in CT. Met-Rx was the one. They opened a box of vanilla and chocolate and sold the individual packets.

Back then we had Travel Agents. After my first cycle, which consisted of 10 amps of Omnadren, I wanted to have my own stash of gear and the magazines spoke about Mexico and the different things I could get South of the Border.

I knew the owner of the Travel Agency and his daughter from Chamber of Commerce meetings. I walked in and said I wanted to get as close the border as possible so she took out a map and pointed to a town called Brownsville in Texas. I was unsure about how I was gonna do things but at that time in 1994 I was 24yrs old, separated from my first wife and living part time with a 19yr old nail tech. Loved that girl!

Booked my flight and had a friend who was gonna buy a bunch from me drop me off at Bradley Int. That was my first trip of many each year up until 9/11. Walked back and forth 3 times a day each day I was there. Taped up my thighs with Testoviron and Testoprim D amps, Redi Ject Sust shots and as many Stenox(halo) as I could manage and went from the 1st floor of Garcias Farmacia in Matamoras up to the bar on the 2nd floor and into a bahroom stall to take the amps out of the boxes and taped up for the walk across. Those were tha days.

Most guys have no idea they're living in the golden age of gear.

I tell folks to have a 2 year buffer on hand, because you never know when someone might decide AAS fueled masculinity is the biggest threat to society, and overnight one multi-billion dollar fueled enforcement bill passed could see the whole thing come crashing down.

Ya and we'll be back to using the "For Veterinary Use Only" stuff hahahaha

Ah the good old days of the 90s! Underground steroid handbook and muscle media 2000 was gear porn, I was just as excited to see a new issue of mm2000 than a penthouse! Only sad thing is that I’m realizing I’m old
For me I’m glad things were harder back then to get, I would have started juicing in my teens, glad I waited till mid 20s looking back.

Yeah true, I can't count the number of young guys trying to start on Tren (just tren, nothing else) on another forum, coming over from TikTok, and now they can easily get it. Sometimes obstacles are useful in forcing your to become more educated.

Another dude asked if splitting his 10ml vial into two 5ml injections got him the entire 250mg test dose!

We sent him to the emergency room. Apparently the official treatment for Testosterone overdose is a stern talking to and a checkup a week later.

Are they doing brain transplants yet?
