Hello, has anybody here tried DC(doggcrapp) training. You work each body part 3 times every 2weeks. It consists of 3-5 warm-up sets then 1 heavy rest/pause at 11-20 reps. I've been doing push/pull twice a week and lately I've been getting beat up from it. I'm 47 and been working out 20+ yrs. I did the 5/3/1 for about 1.5yrs and it worked well I'm thinking DC will fall somewhere between5/3/1 and push/pull twice a week. Any input is appreciated.

I have done it. A few years younger than you. For safety and longevity I would push most of the lifts into the 20-30 rep range as adviced by DC himself.

I trained dc for a few years. I dropped it after i had shoulder surgery. Now i just had my other shoulder done. Both minor.

I may try to go back to it.

I agree with above. If a it older like mysef bump the total reps up.

I done DC training a few years back. I went from a high volume routine right to low volume. I blew up fast. I believe it was the super compensation effect after the high volume. It was pretty hard on my nervous system.

I did reach over training on my first go. Went a few weeks too long. I really didnt believe in over training until it happened to me
