Deep in the Cut: High CRP/CK & Fatigue. Need Bloodwork Analysis.

Hey peeps,

I just received my bloodwork today and there are several potential issues with it that I would love some help interpreting. I'm trying to figure out if I'm just redlining the engine too hard or if there's something more concerning going on.

Context & Stats

I'm 34 years old, 174cm, and currently weighing 85.5kg. About 7 months ago I returned to the gym after a devastating shoulder injury where basically all of the tendons on the right arm were sliced off the bone. Surgery ensued and I was about a year out of the gym and pretty much inactive, which caused me to gain a lot of weight and fat.

I started my cut on September 1st. It has been admittedly severe, but it’s going strong; I’ve dropped from around 30% body fat down to roughly 10% while re-building my lost tissue. During the last month, my steps have averaged 20k per day; but they were extrememely high throughout the cut, with calories set at 2301 on training days (P: 270g | F: 57g | C: 177g) and 1900 on rest/cardio days (P: 245g | F: 45g | C: 135g). Hunger was manageable, but I did introduce Retatrutide, to combat some binge eating episodes, which have since subsided.

The Bloodwork

Below is the full breakdown. Note that the HGH level is high intentionally; since I was getting bloodwork done, I decided to do a serum test on a different brand of HGH just to see how it compares to my usual source.

Issues & Analysis

The last couple of days I have been feeling extremely tired and overworked. As such, starting Monday I decided to reduce my workout volume by cutting one set off each exercise (I train 4 days a week with 3 cardio days) and dropping my daily steps from 20k to 12k.

There isn't much left to the cut, so I decided to push through, but those inflammation markers are worrying me. They are a big "no no" in my book. I suspect a few factors might be at play here.

First is sleep and stress. I work three jobs and recently had more work dumped on my plate, so my stress is high and sleep quality has definitely taken a hit. My HRV has tanked and my resting heart rate is up.

Second, I might just be in a deficit for too long or failing to recover properly from the training volume.

Lastly, I recently swapped to a new Primo (220mg/mL) that uses sesame oil with 2% BA and 20% BB. It causes significant PIP and lumps, so I’m wondering if that local inflammation is driving up the systemic CRP.

Any thoughts on the bloodwork or adjustments would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you need further information, I will gladly provide it.

Another factor that popped into my mind that might contribute to the elevated inflammation markers is that I got a big tattoo on my ribs 4 days prior to the testing.

I'm just brainstorming things that could have caused this. I'm throwing it out here so you guys have more information.
